LEGITIMULT focused on the following populations and their members: ethnic/national/linguistic minorities, women in vulnerable positions, border communities, LGBTQI+ community, migrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
The perceptions and attitudes of individuals from these communities regarding human rights, minority inclusion and non-discrimination, as well as legitimacy of the COVID-19 crisis management were researched and examined in 4 different countries: Croatia, Slovenia, Italia and Austria.
The project also researched how crisis measures impacted them individually and their respective groups and whether crisis responses, policies and strategies helped mitigate inequalities in these societies or inadvertently reinforced them.
